Preparations are going well for this year's Gnosall Festival, which will run from Saturday 15th to Sunday 23rd July.

GFest celebrates the Parish of Gnosall (including Moreton and Knightley) the local people, their skills and experience and the area's heritage and environment. It began in 2011 and takes place every two years. Organised by our own residents, it features the community rather than bringing in celebrities from outside.  This has proved a winning formula which people have come to appreciate more each time - something to look forward to.

Popular events such as the beer festival, treasure hunt, classical concert, bake-off, Made in Gnosall exhibition and sale of local crafts, and Open Gardens, will be joined by new events including a Heritage Group Open Day, an antiques valuation day,  a murder mystery, a Line of Coins and pond-dipping on the Acres.

Full details of the programme will be on the Gnosall Parish website and also circulated to every household in the village.

The GFest Group invites local businesses or individuals to sponsor Festival events and/or provide prizes.

Events this year started off early with a successful Film Night, which was held on 28th January – The Jungle Book and The Theory of Everything were a real success and wowed their audiences.
