GFest 2019 concluded on Sunday 21st July with a quiz night and the prize draw. Many wonderful prizes were donated by local businesses and all winners have been notified. GFest 2019 has been a tremendous success and the canal festival (CFest) held on 19th, 20th and 21st July was very popular and plans are already being discussed for another CFest!
Funds raised from events will be shared amongst local good causes, local groups & charities. The Gfest committee and parish council thank everyone who has supported the events and welcomes feedback.
GFest 2019 got off to a fabulous start with a fun packed morning at Gnosall Family and Sports Club with a family fun run followed by some rugby games activities with a bbq and strawberries and cream donated by Dearnsdales
Farm. There was a craft fair at the Grosvenor Centre at which some local
talented crafters displayed and sold their creations. An interesting talk
on the history of St Lawrence Church was popular as was the family bike ride
from Gnosall to Stafford along the former railway line. An ecumenical
church service was well attended with some special guests - the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire and Deputy Mayor of Stafford.
