CORONA VIRUS UPDATE (as of 13th May 2020)

In line with new regulations announced by the Government this week, the Tennis Court on The Acres is now open.  People are allowed to play singles tennis with one member of their household OR one member from a different household as long as a 2M distance is maintained.  Doubles tennis must only be played with members of your own household.

Until further announcements are made about other recreation facilities the play parks on Brookhouse Road and The Chippy Jumps remain closed as does the MUGA and outdoor gym.

The Boardwalk remains open but has a one way system to ensure a 2m distance can be maintained (from Brookhouse Road towards the allotments)

The library and GG’s youth club remain closed as does The Grosvenor Centre.

The Parish Council office is closed to visitors but is staffed to take calls and emails.

The hotline is still operating for anyone who needs help with shopping, meals, collection of prescriptions or just a chat.  Call 07947 104 411

The incredible community spirit continues and long may it last.  Stay safe everyone and thank you for being so cooperative during this challenging time.
